Drug Distribution Ring Broken Up on Ermine Avenue
A 45-year-old man was arrested after law enforcement discovered over 100 grams of cocaine and a semi-automatic pistol during an investigation on Ermine Avenue in Comstock Township, according to the Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team.
The arrest took place on March 31 after officers searched a home near the intersection of Ermine Avenue and Grange Avenue.
One person has been arrested after the Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team (KVET) found over 100 grams of cocaine and a semi-automatic gun in Comstock Township, according to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.
During the search, officers found:
- 127 grams of cocaine
- 46 grams of crack cocaine
- A semi-automatic pistol
- Evidence of drug distribution
The investigation began when KVET was looking into illegal weapons and drug distribution in the area.
