Two Victims Taken to Hospital After Shooting at Girl Scouts Kalamazoo Regional Center
Two 25-year-old men were shot and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a shooting occurred Sunday evening at the Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan Kalamazoo Regional Program and Training Center in Kalamazoo.
A 22-year-old man was taken into custody by police in connection with the incident.
The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety said the shooting happened shortly before 6 p.m. at the facility located at 601 W Maple Street, near Crosstown Parkway.
KDPS confirmed two people were injured in the shooting and that one suspect is in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
