A 45-year-old man from Kalamazoo County is in police custody after authorities found him with more than 100 grams of cocaine and a semi-automatic pistol in Comstock Township.
The Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team (KVET) concluded an investigation into illegal weapons and drug distribution on Ermine Avenue near Grange Avenue, arresting the suspect on March 31.
Search Warrant
During a search of the suspect's home, officers uncovered:
- 127 grams of cocaine
- 46 grams of crack cocaine
- A semi-automatic pistol
- Evidence of drug distribution
The investigation began after a complaint was received regarding illegal weapons and drug activity in the area. KVET officers worked to verify the allegations and execute a search warrant.
