Comstock Township, Mich. — Federal and state authorities have made an arrest following a search warrant execution that uncovered substantial evidence of drug trafficking and illegal weapons possession.

The Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team (KVET), working with the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety, searched a residence on Ermine Avenue near Grange Avenue and discovered significant quantities of controlled substances and firearms.

Officers were investigating illegal weapons and drug distribution, according to KDPS.

## Seized Items Include Large Amounts of Cocaine and Firearm

During the March 31st operation, authorities seized:

  • 127 grams of cocaine
  • 46 grams of crack cocaine
  • A semi-automatic pistol
  • Additional evidence of drug dealing

The investigation targeted a 45-year-old man from Kalamazoo County. When officers arrived at the residence, they found what appeared to be an established operation for distributing controlled substances throughout the area.
