Grant Supports God's Kitchen of Michigan in Oshtemo Township

The Broncos Kitchen Foundation announced it received a $6,000 grant from the Mike and Sharon Seelye Family Foundation to help provide free, nutritious meals to people in need throughout Kalamazoo County.

The money will help provide operational resources and free, nutritious meals to homeless citizens, the elderly and disabled individuals, food-insecure families, and veterans living in Kalamazoo County throughout the summer.

Free meals will be served at several locations in Kalamazoo County starting in June, and those will be available on the God's Kitchen of Michigan website.

Broncos Kitchen Foundation is Fiscal Sponsor for Long-Serving Soup Kitchen

Broncos Kitchen Foundation is the fiscal sponsor for God's Kitchen of Michigan, a nonprofit soup kitchen celebrating its 15th anniversary this year.

God's Kitchen of Michigan was incorporated on January 20, 2011, and has since provided nearly 170,000 free meals to those in need throughout Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, Portage, and Oshtemo Township.

The grant announcement came on May 14, 2026.

"The money will help provide operational resources and free, nutritious meals to homeless citizens, the elderly and disabled individuals, food-insecure families, and veterans living in Kalamazoo County throughout the summer."

The service locations will be announced on the God's Kitchen of Michigan website once meal service begins in June.
