A Life Cut Short at a Kalamazoo Intersection
*Timothy Johnson, 38, was walking in the intersection of West Main Street and North Drake Road in Oshtemo Township* when a vehicle struck him early Saturday morning. He died at a local hospital.
The crash happened around 4:35 a.m. on June 20, according to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office.
Driver Stopped and Was Arrested
The driver who struck Johnson remained at the scene. Police identified the motorist. A suspect has been arrested but has not been publicly named, according to MLive.

A portion of the intersection was closed for several hours while investigators processed the scene. The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety, Life EMS, and the Oshtemo Township Fire Department assisted at the scene.
