The Parchment Panthers softball team finished the 2026 regular season tied for first place in the SAC-Valley Conference. The Panthers shared the division title with Kalamazoo Christian, according to conference standings reported by MLive.com on June 18, 2026.
Four Parchment players earned spots on the all-conference team. The honors recognize individual performance across the conference's top programs.
First-Team Selections
Three Panthers made the first-team all-conference squad:
- Taylor McKinney
- Alexa Price
- Natalie Tindle
Honorable Mention
Two additional players received honorable mention:
- Reagan Loher
- Amiyah Jackson
"Kalamazoo Christian and Parchment shared the SAC-Valley division title after finishing tied atop the standings," according to Matthew Ehler of MLive.com.
Kalamazoo Christian earned the most total all-conference selections among all teams in the league. Parchment and Schoolcraft also placed multiple players on the team, Ehler reported.
A Strong Finish to the Regular Season
Parchment closed the regular season with a six-game winning streak before falling to Kalamazoo Christian, 10-0, on May 30, 2026, according to game results posted on MaxPreps.com. The Panthers defeated Comstock, 16-1, in the other game that same day.
Earlier in May, Parchment won 13 straight games at one point. The team beat Kalamazoo Central on May 13, 2026, to extend that streak. The Panthers also defeated Kellogg twice on May 19 (7-0 and 11-0) and Olivet, 10-2, on May 21.
The SAC-Valley Conference includes schools from Kalamazoo County and surrounding areas. The all-conference selections are voted on by league coaches.
Parchment now turns its attention to the postseason as the 2026 MHSAA softball playoffs begin.
