Road Named After Comstock Soldier Who Gave His Life in Afghanistan

A section of US-131 in Kalamazoo County will carry the name of Sgt. Gregory Kuhse, a native of Comstock Township who died serving his country in Afghanistan.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed a measure in April that formally names the section of highway after the late soldier. The legislation honors Sgt. Kuhse's sacrifice and legacy as a Comstock Township-area native who served in the U.S. military.
