Two teenagers were hospitalized with gunshot wounds following a shooting in Richland's Northside neighborhood on Tuesday evening.
Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety responded around 6 p.m. to shots fired on North Park Street near Hopkins Street.
Police found a 15-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to his lower back. Life EMS took him to Bronson Hospital.
Police then found a 14-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to one of his forearms. Life EMS took him to Beacon Health System.
The two boys were shot in the backyard of a home in the 1700 block of North Park Street.
No suspect information is available and the investigation is ongoing.

According to KDPS, the injuries are not life threatening at this time.
