RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. A woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash on North 35th Street near Greer Drive in Richland Township early Sunday morning, according to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies were called to the scene at about 2 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 30. When crews arrived, they found the woman's vehicle had struck a tree, the sheriff's office said in a news release. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities did not release the victim's name or age, citing notifications to family members and the ongoing investigation. Officials also did not say what caused the crash.
The Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash and has not shared additional details about the circumstances of the wreck.
