31-Year-Old Victim Hit in Leg During Early Morning Incident on Butterfly Road

*OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, Mich.* — A woman was arrested in connection to a shooting at an Oshtemo Township apartment building early Saturday morning, leaving one man hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the scene around 4:55 a.m. after receiving a report of a shooting at an apartment in the 700 block of Butterfly Road. When deputies arrived, they found a 31-year-old man who had suffered a gunshot wound to his leg.

The suspect, a 41-year-old woman, was taken into custody without incident.

"A woman was arrested in connection to a shooting in Oshtemo Township early Saturday," said Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office in a release.
